Internship program for NEETs participated in the EDIBO Bootcamps – phase 2
Five young people aged between 18 and 29 were approved to participate in the partnership internship program of the Institute for Youth Initiatives and Innovations (IYII) and 3K AD in Varna. From the beginning of March 2021, the young people passed a one-month internship in the administrative department of the company. 3K AD has been working in the field of energy and environment for over 15 years. The company employs highly qualified and motivated specialists in various fields – engineers, economists, doctor of technical sciences. The company offers services related to the design, delivery and overall construction of PV systems as well as complex engineering solutions for specific places. Thus, the young people trained in digital skills within the EDIBO project received the opportunity to touch a real work environment, meet professionals in the industry, as well as work on real tasks in the company’s administration.
As part of the internship program, the young people had the opportunity to get acquainted with the accompanying activities of the company by being introduced to a number of other services offered by 3K AD in the Center for Energy Solutions. Together with Thermosol K3, the company has started developing a charger for electric cars, controlled by a mobile application. To date, 3K AD team is focusing on global trends, namely small decentralized power generation systems, innovative technologies and last but not least energy storage systems in collaboration with world leader TESVOLT.
One of the valuable lessons that young people have received during the internship program – the use of modern technologies should optimize the use of resources (natural and technological) and to improve our lives and the environment. That is why it is important to look for, develop and offer on the market the most up-to-date solutions for everyday life and urban infrastructure.
